Dr. Martens Jadon/Polished Smooth/Black/ 5265001 Key Specifications: The Dr. Martens Jadon Polished Smooth Black (Style Code: 15265001) is a high-volume, 8-eye platform that evolved from the classic 1460 silhouette. Launched in 2013, it has become a best-selling "statement" boot known for its towering height and edgy, military-inspired aesthetic. Design Highlights: Polished Smooth Leather: This is a twist on the original Dr. Martens leather, featuring a high-shine, glossy finish that is durable and easy to clean. Quad Platform Sole: The defining feature is a 5.08 cm (2-inch) stacked platform sole with a chunky commando tread. Easy Access: Unlike the standard 1460, the Jadon includes a medial (inside) zipper, allowing you to put the boots on and take them off without unlacing. Signature DNA: Retains iconic brand details, including yellow welt stitching, grooved sole edges, and a scripted AirWair heel loop. Goodyear Welt: The upper and sole are heat-sealed at 700°C and sewn together, making them exceptionally durable and long-lasting. Air-Cushioned Sole: Built on the original AirWair bouncing sole, which provides comfort and resistance to oil, fat, and slipping. Usage: Fit & Break-in: These boots typically fit true to size, though they can feel stiff and snug initially. Due to the heavy platform, they may require a 1–2 week break-in period to soften the leather and adjust to the added weight (approx. 3.1 lbs per pair). Age Group: Adults Target Gender: Unisex Authentication Delivery and Returns
