The Scan Welders Gauntlet Gloves are heavy-duty protective gloves designed specifically for welding applications, offering comprehensive hand and forearm protection. Manufactured from durable cowsplit leather with black welted seams, these gauntlets feature a one-piece back construction that delivers exceptional strength and longevity in demanding workshop environments. Measuring 350mm (14 inches) in length, these gloves provide excellent coverage that extends beyond the hand and wrist to protect the lower forearm from sparks, spatter and heat. The full lining ensures comfortable wear during extended welding sessions, whilst the robust leather construction maintains flexibility for precise work. These welding gauntlets conform to EN388:2016, EN407 and EN ISO 21420 standards, delivering top-level protection where it matters most. With maximum ratings for abrasion resistance (4), tear resistance (4), puncture resistance (4), and resistance to flammability (4), they're built to withstand the rigours of professional welding work. The gloves also achieve a level 4 rating for resistance to small splashes of molten metal and level 3 for convective heat resistance. Ideal for MIG, TIG and arc welding applications, these gauntlets are equally suited to general fabrication work and metal workshop tasks where heat and spark protection is essential.
